Cookies
A cookie is a small data file sent by the Site’s web server to the cookies folder of the browser located on your device’s hard drive.
We use two types of cookies on the Site:
- Session cookies: these allow users to navigate the Site in an optimal, secure, user-friendly, and efficient way, and are only used for the proper functioning of the Site; these cookies include media and video cookies (for example, YouTube), making navigation on the Site more dynamic; these cookies are temporary and are automatically deleted when the user leaves the Site; these cookies do not collect any information from the user’s computer or about their activity while on the Site;
- Persistent cookies: these are used to analyze user behavior over a certain period and to produce statistical analyses; the statistical analyses carried out by Group companies using cookie data are performed in aggregate form and not on an individual basis (anonymous visit statistics); analyses are carried out via Google Analytics and relate to the following data: age, gender, interests; persistent cookies do not allow data recipients to identify individuals through this means;
Currently, we do not implement any third-party cookies on the Site, meaning cookies used for advertisements or banners promoting third-party products or services on the Site.
The data collected through cookies is retained by Group companies for a period of thirteen (13) months. It is not shared with third parties nor used for any other purposes.
When accessing the Site, users are given the option to refuse cookies and the statistical analysis of their browsing data. Users may also object to the storage of cookies and delete them using their browser settings; however, this may affect the quality of the user experience. Users can also delete cookies at any time individually by referring to their computer’s user manual.
